{"id":3467,"date":"2017-12-15T09:00:32","date_gmt":"2017-12-15T09:00:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gh360.ca\/?p=3467"},"modified":"2017-12-15T14:05:47","modified_gmt":"2017-12-15T14:05:47","slug":"have-some-fun-with-ignite-while-back-at-school","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gh360.ca\/?p=3467","title":{"rendered":"Have some fun with IGNITE while back at school"},"content":{"rendered":"<span class=\"wpsdc-drop-cap\">D<\/span>espite the woes of coming back to school after the strike, IGNITE has some plans to help you get back into the school spirit.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Due to the five-week-long strike some events including the popular Comic Expo have been cancelled, while others have been rescheduled.<\/p>\n<p>IGNITE\u2019s Vice President at Guelph-Humber John Kokkoros said \u201cthe strike did affect some things that IGNITE planned for students, like our Halloween Party. However, we will be hosting many events once the strike is over that students can come to.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Some events were cancelled including: Halloween Party and Comic Expo.<\/p>\n<p>However, the following events have been rescheduled:<\/p>\n<p>Real Talks:<br \/>\n\u2022 Feb. 1, March 8 and April 12.<br \/>\n\u2022 Guest speakers will be announced a month prior to the event.<br \/>\n\u2022 This event allows students to hear the featured guest speakers\u2019 experiences and advice. This event is open to all Humber and Guelph-Humber students and is a first-come, first-serve basis. Come early so you don\u2019t miss out on this great experience.<\/p>\n<p>FIFA Tournament<br \/>\n\u2022 March 7, 2018.<br \/>\n\u2022 This sporting event welcomes students to show off their soccer skills and play FIFA to have a chance to win cool prizes.<br \/>\n\u2022 It will be held in the Games Room (KX101) at North Campus and in the Games Room (K Building) at Lakeshore Campus<br \/>\n\u2022 This event is open to all Humber and Guelph-Humber students &#8211; register to ensure you get one of the 16 spots available before they\u2019re all booked.<\/p>\n<p>Massage Day<br \/>\n\u2022 TBA<br \/>\n\u2022 This provides students with the opportunity to take a break and relax during a busy school day. This service is free so come take advantage of this offer.<\/p>\n<p>Movie Day<br \/>\n\u2022 TBA<br \/>\n\u2022 Take a break during your busy school day and stop to catch a great movie.<\/p>\n<p>Frost<br \/>\n\u2022 Jan. 12, 2018<br \/>\n\u2022 Feeling down about returning to school after Christmas break?
