Tenth consecutive week with at least one confirmed case on North campus
Humber College announced three cases of COVID-19 on Nov. 30. The COVID-19 Reporting Summary webpage says that brings the total to 31 cases confirmed on Humber College campuses since Sept. 1.Two of the cases announced by Humber College were on North campus. This is the tenth consecutive week with at least one confirmed case on that campus. Including the latest data, there have been 28 cases confirmed on North campus this semester
One new case was confirmed on Humber College Lakeshore campus bringing the total this semester to three. Last week Lakeshore campus confirmed its first case since September. That same week a record 8 cases were confirmed on Humber College North campus.
Humber records a case when an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19 was present on campus within 14 days of their diagnosis.
Humber provides a weekly update of the number of cases with connections to campus every Monday. Local public health authorities or a member of the COVID Reporting Health team follow up with anyone deemed at risk for contracting the virus.
