Lesley Hampton is a Canadian First Nations designer. Born in 1994, Lesley discovered her keen interest for fashion at a very young age and is now the founder and creative designer of LESLEY HAMPTON. Lesley combines her passion for fashion and talent to express social-cultural issues that are recognized by the Canadian fashion industry. Lesley has been featured in Vogue, Glamour UK, Marie Claire US, Daily Mail UK, Elle Deutschland, Glamour MX, Cosmopolitan Russia, and Glamour Paris.

Born in Canada, Lesley is part of Temagami First Nations, which is located in northern Ontario. The community of Temagami First Nations in located on Bear Island and in the heart of Lake Temagami. Although Lesley does not celebrate specific traditions, she participates in smudges during indigenous ceremonies.

LESLEY HAMPTON (the label) was founded in 2016. The label focuses on women’s apparel that is casual and elegant evening wear. The label caters to all body types and sizes (2-22), with a sense of confidence, sexiness and strength, with each piece diverse in colour and texture.

The brand aims to illustrate the inner determination, courage and beauty that comes from within. Lesley not only includes diversity in every fashion piece but also on the runway through her models. She is recognized for featuring diverse models such as a cancer survivor, amputee, alopecia, and androgynous individuals, as well as bring awareness to societal issues, aboriginal stereotypes, female body image and personal identity.

The collection incorporates colours that represents the process of healing.
